Annual Funds
Contributions
to these funds help continue the permanent work of the Community
Foundation.
The
annual fund clubs of the Greater Menomonie Area Community Foundation
will be:
Builders
Fund
for gifts of $1,000 and above
Benefactors
Fund for
gifts between $500 and $999
Friends
Fund for
gifts up to $499
The
dollars received from such annual funds will be used for operating
expenses unless designated by the donor for the General Endowment.
Donors
contributing to other Foundation accounts will be listed under those
named funds in the annual report.
The
donor(s) will be listed only in the year the donation is given.
We will not have a cumulative club.
Matching
gifts will not count toward an individual’s membership in the club.
The company giving the donation will be recognized.
We
will not have an annual campaign. The founders of the Community
Foundation guaranteed the community that we would not hold such
a campaign. We would hold an internal low-key campaign with our
own Board and we would “advertise” the Clubs through our column,
newsletter, response envelope, and annual report but we would not
do specific mailings, etc.
Donors/sponsors
of the Travel Dinner and Golf Outing will be listed as members of
an appropriate annual club.
